So just for comparison, this is what I have been living with for the past two years:
Note the infinitesimally small counter space (which we had to put in, I might add). And the impossibly moldy nasty uncleanable walls. And general ick. Ick ick ick.
My new kitchen leaves me speechless (but only for a moment, don't worry)
Helloooooooooooooooo counter space! What, you don't see it?
There it is. All over the place!!!
And best of all, my dear darling husband bought me a converter for my even more dear, more darling kitchenaid. It runs off 110V and here we have 220. Seriously we have been lugging this thing around for 6 years just dreaming of actually freaking using it.
Ohhh, 6 quart kitchenaid stand mixer love. I can't wait to whip up a batch of swiss meringue buttercream in less than 2 hours!! Or cookies. Or cakes. Or cupcakes. Or macarons. Oh, the possibilities are endless.
Well, I'm off to get some groceries so I can start showing you pictures of actual food! Happy weekend everyone!
Love love love! May you make many fun and delicious goodies in that marvelous kitchen !!!
ReplyDeletelove you E! I love my kitchen aid! :) enjoy!
ReplyDeletehow great. Don't see how you did it without the Kitchen Aid. I use mine almost everyday!
ReplyDeleteThis post is hilarious! I share your inthusiasm for counter space. It's so great finally having a REAL kitchen... My Kitchenaid broke down on friday, just as I was about to make this: http://www.xnet.co.il/vod/articles/0,14716,L-3085641,00.html. Had to knead by hand :(
ReplyDeleteHave lots of fun in your amazing kitchen!
Thanks everyone! We're all enjoying the ridiculously huge space... although it does give me more space to mess up, too...
