I got a pattern for some cute "house shoes" on etsy the other day from a clever little shop called "I think sew". The best part is that I didn't have to wait around for it to be shipped, and hope that the mailman/ambulance driver named "dudi" (I kid you not) might decide that day to in fact give us our mail instead of sending it back. No, instead I got it mere minutes later in my inbox. Success!
And with some leftover tacky scraps....
I give you tacky house slippers! Exterior made of cotton, fleece lining, denim soles. Not good for playing rugby, going puddle jumping, or wind surfing. Excellent when used to walk around the house, watch TV, make dinner, and work from your home office.
Would you like a pair?
Lucky you!
I am giving away one pair of custom-made women's house shoes in the size (must be between 6 and 11 in American sizes) and fabric selection (amongst the options of tacky fabrics I will show you) of the winner.
Here are the rules:
To enter, do any or all of the following:
1) Get a friend to follow my blog. Leave me a message saying that you convinced some other poor soul to read my ramblings and look at my pictures. Or something like that. Bwahahaha.
For a second entry (double your chances, statisticians!):
2) Post a link on facebook to the giveaway and say something nice. Leave a comment saying you did so!
For yet another way to play:
3) Like my facebook page and leave a comment saying that you did!
Don't forget to leave a comment for EACH entry!! Thanks!
Update: I'm obsessed with making these things. Here is another tacky fabric version, which COULD BE YOURS!!
I'm going to make my brother read your blog. He was impressed by the pretzel experiment.
ReplyDeleteI've also posted a link on both of our walls (mine and his). Am I your number one follower or what?
ReplyDeleteI posted it on Facebook, and asked my cousin to follow.
ReplyDeleteCan I suggest you also set up a FB page about the blog, so people can subscribe and see new articles in their news feed - instead of you having to friend each person? I know I read blogs more often if I see the articles on FB.
Thanks for the suggestion! Now I just need Facebook to stop thinking blogger is spam!
DeleteI liked your fb page this morning. But my links have been deleted by the facebook bullies.
ReplyDeleteOf course I liked your page.
