Sweet Tea Vodka

Today I want to share a little gem of alcoholic deliciousness with you.

You've probably heard of sweet tea vodka.

It hasn't exactly made it's way to mainstream Israeli culture. What a shame.

This forces me to make it myself.

You know the only thing tastier than sweet tea vodka*?

Sweet Tea Vodka with freshly squeezed sour lemonade. Now get on it!

*and by the only thing tastier, I mean of course excluding the entire list of  any possible form of delicious baked goods, including but not limited to cookies, cakes, brownies, parfaits, ice creams, pies, and the like, which are clearly the tastiest things in the entire universe. But Sweet Tea Vodka is a close second.*

Sweet Tea Vodka

1 cup vodka
2-3 tea bags
1/4 c sugar
1/4 c water

"Brew" the tea in the vodka for 2-3 hours at room temperature. Remove the tea bags and squeeze all that vodka deliciousness out of them.

Take 1/4 c boiling water, and add the sugar. Stir until dissolved. Add to your vodka mixture. Chill. Is especially tasty when mixed with lemonade.

Please drink responsibly.

  1. Have you tried different tea flavours? I'm thinking of going with raspberry-vanila. Thoughts?
